Fish for Families: Celebrate the Season of Giving

Azura’s colleague, Melissa Sanderson, is supporting Fish for Families. Please share this post and celebrate this season of giving.

Mackerel FishingFish for Families

By Melissa Sanderson

I work for a charity called the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance that fights for healthy oceans to sustain small-boat fishermen on Cape Cod.  Today, I am contributing my own personal dollars to one of my favorite Alliance programs called Fish for Families.

One of our fishermen is at sea this very minute working hard to catch 3,500 pounds of fresh mackerel that will be distributed to Cape Cod families in need.  Providing local people with fresh local seafood is a win-win.  But we need your support to run the Fish for Families program.  This year, the Fishermen’s Alliance has a goal to raise $20,000 to help serve 38,000 meals to over 20,000 clients of the food pantries on Cape Cod.

Every dollar raised will be doubled, thanks to a $10,000 in generous matching gifts from Jeffrey and Nancy Bilezikian and the Robert B. Our Company.

Please consider donating to our campaign today by clicking the link below, and no amount is too big or small. #givingtuesday
