For over 10 years, Azura’s scientists have been using EndNote software to develop reference libraries for clients, such as the Department of the Navy and NOAA Fisheries. We maintain our own bibliographic database of over 33,000 references primarily related to terrestrial and marine resource management. Because this database is centrally managed in an EndNote library, we can search quickly through thousands of references to find the ones most relevant to our needs and also create bibliographies and citation lists within Microsoft® Word using EndNote’s Cite While You Write feature. EndNote has become a critical and standard tool which we use to research, organize, and format our references.

Cite While You Write
Once your EndNote library is developed, you can insert citations and references directly from your library into your manuscripts and documents in Microsoft® Word as you write to automatically build a bibliography. As you continue to write and link your references to your EndNote library, your bibliography automatically updates so you no longer have to reorganize your references. In addition, you can reformat your bibliography to match over 6,000 styles!
