Under NOAA’s ProTech Fisheries IDIQ contract, Azura was recently awarded a task order to provide Section 7 consultation support services for the Alaska Regional Office (AKR) Protected Resources Division (PRD). AKR PRD administers the Region’s responsibilities under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) to conserve the 26 ESA-listed species found in Alaska. We are excited to continue our long-term partnership with Salus Resources Inc., a service-disabled veteran owned small business, under this new task order. Azura and Salus have been providing Section 7 support for NOAA since 2019. Under this new task order, we will be assisting AKR PRD with Section 7 consultations and project reviews of requests submitted from federal action agencies authorizing, funding, and carrying out actions that may affect ESA-listed species and critical habitat in Alaska.
