Azura was recently certified by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (VDSBSD) as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subject to the requirements of the DBE Regulation 49 CFR, Part 26 and all the laws of this state applicable to the transaction of business.
The purpose of this certification program is to increase the participation of certified DBEs in projects funded by the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) and other federal sectors. Projects typically include heavy construction, such as building and designing roads, bridges, railroads, ports, and airports.
In accordance with USDOT DBE certification eligibility requirements, Azura is certified as a DBE for environmental consulting services.
