During May 2022, Azura’s CEO Amy Whitt gave a virtual presentation for the Professional Spotlight session of The Coastal Society’s Coastal Connections web conferencing series.
Professional Spotlight sessions provide an opportunity for TCS members to learn first-hand from coastal practitioners about their career path and job tips. Ms. Whitt discussed her background in marine mammal research, coastal environmental management, and ocean policy. She also presented an overview of the environmental consulting industry. In addition to describing how she merged her passions to start and grow an environmental consulting firm, she provided tips for those interested in pursuing a similar career path.
