The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) ProTech Fisheries Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is alive and well. As one of the existing five ProTech Domains, ProTech Fisheries is for vendors providing professional and technical services to NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) which is responsible for stewardship of the United States’ ocean resources and their habitat. After much anticipation, the 17 ProTech Fisheries award winners finally saw the first Task Order (TO) Request for Proposals/Quotations this spring. Azura is happy to report that we have been awarded five TOs to date. Under these TOs, our scientists and professionals are supporting the Alaska Region, including the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) and Auke Bay Laboratories, the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, and the Southeast Regional Office. We are providing a wide range of services from cetacean assessment surveys and Section 7 consultations to modeling and website content support services.
