Known as the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers, PMP is an internationally recognized professional designation offered by the Project Management Institute. Amy joins the group of over 932,720 active PMP-certified individuals who span 218 countries and territories.
To earn this recognition, PMPs demonstrate their extensive knowledge and mastery of project management concepts, tasks, and techniques that are applicable across virtually any industry and methodology. In addition to meeting the certification prerequisites which include 4,500 hours of leading and directing projects, Amy completed a 4-day PMP certification training course offered by the Project Management Academy and passed the PMP exam which covers tasks of the five performance domains: initiating the project, planning the project, executing the project, monitoring and controlling the project, and closing the project.
